Job Description
We are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our team at Middle River Aerostructure Systems, a leading manufacturer in the aerospace industry. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will drive quality initiatives for assigned suppliers, ensuring compliance and implementing improvement plans. Your role will involve conducting audits, monitoring supplier performance, and collaborating with the sourcing organization to meet engineering requirements.
Responsibilities
- Drive quality for assigned suppliers, including quality plan implementation.
- Conduct product, process, and systemic quality reviews related to product procurement.
- Own supplier audits, ensure compliance, and drive improvement plans.
- Collaborate with the sourcing organization to meet engineering requirements.
- Ensure product and process flowdowns are appropriate.
- Participate in supplier performance reviews and audits at the supply base.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to influence others, lead small teams, and drive cost reduction projects.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
