Job Description

We are looking for compassionate individuals to join our team at Sevita as a Life Skills Trainer/Caregiver. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals receiving care by providing training, support, and assistance in various living environments.

Responsibilities

  • Provide training, assistance, and supervision in living skills, therapeutic recreation, and other forms of support.
  • Assist with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.
  • Support community involvement and maintain relationships with employers.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to implement therapeutic and behavioral plans.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 6 months to 1 year of experience in the human services field.
  • Valid Driver's License and successful background check clearance.
  • Caring attitude, attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
