Kate's K9 Pet Care, VA and MD’s #1 Pet Care Professionals, is looking for a passionate and responsible Dog Walker to join our team. Area / Schedule

• Provide dog-walking services from 10am to 3pm on weekdays.
• Offer pet-sitting services during evenings and weekends.
• Service areas include Alexandra, Arlington, Fort Washington, Lorton, National Harbor, Oxon Hill, Waldorf, and nearby communities.

Compensation

$19 - $21 / hour with earning bonuses.

• Starting visit rate of $14-$15 per 30-minute visit (DOE).
• Staff gross $22+ per hour to start.
• Time and a half on holidays and short-notice requests.
• Bonuses for referrals and performance goals.
• Work materials provided.
• Bonuses for Pet First Aid and Pet CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and positive walking environment for dogs.
• Provide detailed care for cats and small animals.
• Perform house-sitting duties as needed.
• Transport client pets safely.
• Prefer availability during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Flexibility required due to varying client demand.
