Job Description

Helen Ross McNabb Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our dedicated team. As a valuable member of our healthcare staff, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse population and contribute to improving the lives of the people we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to clients in residential and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
• Document patient interactions, interventions, and responses in the electronic medical record system.
• Carry out nursing procedures in adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Requirements

• Current LPN license in Tennessee.
• Knowledge of psychiatric/mental health, A&D, and co-occurring disorders preferred.
• CPR certified or willing to become certified.
• Experience in working with special populations including individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring disorders, and dual diagnosis disorders preferred.
• Computer experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Excellent people, role-modeling, and communication skills.
• Physical ability to lift and move patients, as well as engage in verbal and physical de-escalation techniques.
