Job Description
Pro2Serve is seeking a highly motivated, proactive Project Manager-Electrical Engineering to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will oversee and execute engineering projects, ensuring effective coordination, budget control, and adherence to quality and safety standards. This position requires a combination of exceptional technical skills, project management expertise, and a commitment to fostering positive client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, peers, and affiliates.
- Lead, supervise and direct technical and project efforts, ensuring schedule and budget adherence.
- Oversee routine, small to mid-scale electrical engineering projects, including proposal development, scheduling, and coordination of resources.
- Maintain project status, control costs, and prepare reports, studies, and documentation as required.
- Assist the electrical department in preparing power distribution, grounding, lighting, and other design drawings.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minimum of 5 years of prior Project Management experience in engineering projects.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant project experience, preferably as an Electrical Engineer.
- Professional Engineering (PE) certification strongly preferred; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
- Experience with low voltage power distribution systems, knowledge of NEC, ISA, IEEE Regulatory Codes, and CAD experience with AutoCAD or Microstation.
- Experience working on DOE or DOD government projects is advantageous.
- Federal Government Clearance, particularly an Active Department of Energy “L” or “Q” Clearance, is a plus.
