Job Description

As a Network Relations Liaison at Meritage Medical Network, you will serve as a key member of the Network Relations Department, acting as a liaison for assigned geographic regions between Meritage and networked physician offices. The role involves traveling to handle various matters, including providing orientation and ongoing education to network providers and their staff and building and maintaining strong, trusting, and professional working relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all Meritage services and staff to effectively represent Meritage to network physicians.
  • Develop information and education materials for distribution in the field.
  • Ensure the presence and visibility of the Meritage brand in network practice offices.
  • Coordinate and host network physician social events and committee meetings.
  • Assist in onboarding new member physicians and guide them through the Membership process.
  • Track and monitor ongoing provider issues and gather data from practices to help them be more successful.
  • Act as a primary liaison between network physicians and Meritage representatives for service, education, and problem resolution.
  • Make recommendations to Meritage leadership on how the organization could be a better resource and partner to network providers.
  • Demonstrate behaviors, conduct, and communications that support Meritage’s practices and values of accountability, diversity, integrity, and respect for others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned related to supporting the Network Relations Department and the overall Meritage organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related healthcare or business field with at least 3 years of directly related work experience, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience working with physicians, physician practices, and their affiliated businesses.
  • Strong customer service skills and commitment, as well as organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to prepare and present effective individual and group presentation materials.
  • Professional demeanor and work style, including the ability to confidently and clearly present information in a large group setting.
  • Working knowledge, experience, and expertise with office-based computer equipment and systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as other medically related databases and software applications.
  • Ability to exercise and be accountable for independent judgment and decision-making on organizational and network issues.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $69,804 to $82,950.40 yearly. Additionally, Meritage Medical Network offers a comprehensive benefits package and 401k match.
