Job Description
We are looking for a Nursing Graduate to join our team at LifeBridge Health in Baltimore, MD. As a Staff Nurse in the Emergency Room, you will provide nursing care to patients in accordance with professional standards and organizational guidelines. This role involves developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and maintaining competencies for quality care delivery. The position offers an opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art Emergency Department, contributing to patient safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care in compliance with standards and protocols.
- Assess patient needs and collaborate with the healthcare team.
- Maintain clinical knowledge and skills for effective patient care.
- Create a safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in Maryland or Compact State.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Services preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Hazmat certification within one year.
- Certification in Emergency Nursing is a plus.
