Primary Objective & Scope of Position:

This role involves handling merchandise, including storing, moving, and distributing products. The Merchandise Handler will lead by example, provide training to colleagues, and ensure the efficient movement of goods within the warehouse.

Essential Functions and Accountabilities:

• Efficiently move and organize merchandise within the warehouse for space optimization.
• Prepare merchandise for display, storage, delivery, or shipment.
• Utilize the point of sale (POS) system for inventory management.
• Ensure accuracy in customer orders and system records.
• Receive and inspect incoming merchandise and prepare outgoing items for shipment.

Additionally, this role involves providing training to colleagues, maintaining customer service standards, following safety protocols, and assisting with other warehouse tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED (or currently working towards completion).
• Basic math skills and knowledge of tools and hardware.
• Valid driver's license and basic computer knowledge.
• Experience with POS systems is desirable.
