Welder

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Welder to join our team at Legend Manufacturing, Inc. As a Production Welder, you will work on welding aluminum and steel enclosed and aluminum open trailer frames. If you have the skills and dedication to craft premium trailers that last, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety rules and wear personal protective equipment.
• Read and interpret work orders accurately.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, torches, and other tools effectively.
• Understand and apply different weld types, joint types, and weld pass positions.
• Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum and steel.
• Utilize framing jigs for models and layouts.
• Ensure quality and precision in axle placement, measurements, and final weld placements.
• Inspect work for completion and maintain a clean work area.

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experience with power and hand tools is preferred.
• Able to read and use a tape measure.
• Willingness to cross-train between departments.
• Ability to follow work instructions and work flexible hours.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and have good attendance.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, reach, bend, kneel, and twist for extended periods.
• Capable of moving up to 75 pounds with or without accommodations.
