2nd Shift- Fabricator

Job Description

Veritas Steel LLC is looking for skilled Fabricators to join our team at the Eau Claire location. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating, drilling, and grinding bridge girder components, including welding operations and assembly tasks. Safety is paramount, and adherence to company policies is essential to ensure a secure work environment.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Produce fillet and groove welds using various welding processes.
• Drill, install high-strength bolts, and grind steel components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Minimum 1 year of experience in fabrication; welding experience is a plus.
• Commitment to work safety and participation in safety protocols.
• Focus on quality, accuracy, and reliability in all work.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with the team.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally and manipulate objects up to 100 lbs.
• Physical agility to stand, walk, kneel, climb, and work at heights.
• Good range of motion for various physical tasks.

Working Conditions

• Work environment includes indoor and outdoor settings with exposure to various elements.
• Usage of safety gear like glasses, hearing protection, hard hats, and steel-toed boots.
• Respirator may be required for specific operations.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $24.07
