Quality Enterprises USA is seeking an Assistant Estimator to join our team. Working under the guidance of the estimator, the Assistant Estimator's main responsibility is to analyze project information and compile budgets, bids, and proposals.

Essential Functions
- Evaluate proposals, specifications, blueprints, and construction documents
- Estimate time, labor, materials, and costs for construction projects
- Produce written proposals, cost estimates, and budgets
- Provide accurate takeoff information and solicit subcontractor pricing
- Review change orders and follow up with clients on budgets
Position Competencies
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Thorough understanding of mathematical computations
Requirements
- 2 years of estimating experience or bachelor's degree
- Knowledge of construction practices and estimating software
- Proficient in O365 and Adobe Acrobat
- Experience with utilities, storm piping, and FDOT specifications preferred
- Bachelor's degree in construction-related field preferred
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds at times
