Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Psychiatric Nursing team at FirstHealth Regional Hospital. In this role, you will be part of a 28-bed unit focused on providing care to patients with mental health and substance abuse diagnoses. As a nurse, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive mental health care services and support patients in their recovery journey.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and treatment for individuals with mental health and substance abuse diagnoses.
- Collaborate with a variety of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Work with patients, families, and the community to promote positive patient outcomes and recovery support.
Requirements
- Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med/Surg or Behavioral Services (preferred).
- BCLS certification required.
- Commitment to obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five (5) years of employment.
