Job Description

We are looking for a motivated Associate Field Application Engineer to join our team in the Greater Boston/S. NH area. In this role, you will provide advanced technical support to our Sales team and customers, assist in product presentations, and collaborate with both Japanese and US Engineering teams. Your primary focus will be on enhancing our technical presence within key customer accounts and understanding market trends to drive business growth.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Act as the main technical resource for Sales team and customers.
  • Engage with customers to address technical queries, performance specifications, and new product development needs.
  • Enhance technical presence within key customer accounts.
  • Analyze competitor products and customer applications to provide insightful reports.
  • Support product demonstrations and maintain electrical equipment.
  • Cultivate relationships with cable and harness manufacturers.
  • Participate in sales promotion activities, such as exhibitions and creating sales packages.

Requirements

  • BSEE or BSME required, with at least 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce.com or CRM software is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work cross-culturally, particularly with Japanese companies.
  • Willingness to work closely with the Japanese Sales and Engineering team.
  • Self-motivated with a high level of engineering aptitude.
  • Travel up to 30% of the time, including potential international travel.
  • Authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
