Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a talented full-time CT Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health Wayne Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will perform diagnostic CT exams using advanced imaging equipment, ensuring the highest quality images for interpretation while prioritizing patient care and safety.
Responsibilities
- Verify patient identification and physician orders.
- Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
- Perform CT scans and related procedures, adjusting for patient needs.
- Operate CT imaging equipment proficiently and ensure quality control.
- Monitor patients during procedures to maintain safety.
- Communicate effectively with medical staff and patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred.
- Certification by ARRT with additional CT certification within one year of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
