Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Director of Sales to join the Home2 Suites by Hilton Tuscaloosa Downtown University Boulevard team. As a key member of our hotel management company, you will lead the Sales team to drive revenue growth, foster strong client relationships, and uphold exceptional service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on industry trends to identify opportunities for sales growth.
  • Execute strategic sales activities to meet and exceed budgeted goals.
  • Conduct research and analysis to capitalize on market opportunities and establish market leadership.
  • Engage in sales efforts, including client meetings, events, and industry networking.
  • Participate in Sales trips and industry meetings to expand market reach.
  • Contribute to budget planning and negotiation strategies to maximize revenue.
  • Enhance the hotel's community presence through active involvement in associations and events.
  • Take ownership of assigned sales territory, responding to market needs and driving sales growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel Sales Leadership at a 100 room or larger hotel.
  • Preferably experience with Hilton branded sales and familiarity with systems like Delphi.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Excel is preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in exceeding sales targets in previous roles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong internal and client relationships.
