Job Description

We are seeking a talented Labor Relations Manager to join NV Energy. In this role, you will oversee the development, planning, and implementation of labor strategy and policies, fostering collaborative labor relations. You will be responsible for managing contract administration, grievance handling, and negotiations, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Additionally, you will build and maintain relationships with unions, government agencies, and company leaders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the regional development, planning, and implementation of labor strategy and policies.
  • Participate in labor contract negotiations, grievance meetings, and arbitrations.
  • Build and maintain labor/management relationships with unions, union officials, and government agencies.
  • Develop union contract negotiation strategies related to grievances, salaries, and benefits.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor regulations and company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, industrial relations, or related field with six years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of labor relations, HR practices, and labor laws.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Experience in negotiating labor contracts and administering grievances.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary: $100,700 to $118,400
