Job Description

U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC, a leading manufacturer and supplier of power transmission and motion control products, is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer Lead to join their team. As the Manufacturing Engineer Site Lead, you will manage projects, provide direction to other Manufacturing Engineers, and ensure all safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are achieved. This role involves budget controls, tooling design, and implementing solutions to support production output efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage projects and provide guidance to Manufacturing Engineers to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Promote teamwork, respect, accountability, and continuous improvement in all aspects of production.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while focusing on on-time delivery to customers.
  • Assess manufacturing processes for cost-effectiveness and efficiency improvements.
  • Lead and mentor teams, implementing lean manufacturing concepts for continuous improvement.
  • Design tools, dies, and automation systems using CAD software and value stream mapping.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in quality and safety audits, and optimize manufacturing processes.

Requirements

  • Masters Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering preferred.
  • Eight plus years of related experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, ISO, and CAD.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, technical report writing, and mathematical concepts related to tooling design.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
