Network Systems Engineer

Location: Castle Rock, CO (2-3 days a week in office)

As a Network Systems Engineer at ATN International Inc, you will be a key contributor to the architecture and operation of our telecommunications network, focusing on providing reliable communication services to rural communities in the Southwest. This role requires a service-oriented approach, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Manage network performance, security, and reliability using network management tools.
• Administer Privileged Access Management applications for network elements.
• Identify and resolve network issues to ensure uninterrupted service to rural customers.
• Configure and maintain network management systems for rural community needs.
• Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports.
• Plan and execute network system upgrades with a focus on stability and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Linux System Administration experience.
• Expertise in network monitoring systems and SNMP.
• Proficiency in scripting (Perl, BASH, PowerShell, AutoIT).
• Database experience including MySQL and PostgresDB.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and protocols.
• Familiarity with programming languages like Python and HTML.

Desired Qualifications:

• Windows Server Administration experience.
• Knowledge of PAM systems and centralized log management.
• Experience with DNS management and container systems.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools like Kibana and Elasticsearch.
