Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join our team at TOYOTI1. As a key part of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for utilizing reliability equipment to analyze and predict potential machine failures, minimizing downtime and ensuring smooth operations.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and detect potential machine failures to minimize downtime effectively.
  • Predict pending failures by reviewing and analyzing gathered data.
  • Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology for daily data collection.
  • Submit work orders and collaborate with maintenance planners for timely repairs.
  • Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters, oil, and grease.
  • Recommend immediate shutdown of malfunctioning equipment to prevent catastrophic failure.
  • Collect oil samples for lab test analysis to ensure equipment health.
  • Support Plant Operations and Maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
  • Attend reliability and maintenance meetings to contribute to improvements.
  • Stay current with predictive maintenance technology through job-related training.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and communicate effectively within the team.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in industrial maintenance or minimum 5 years' experience in reliability technology.
  • Military experience considered; Pdm certifications a plus or willingness to obtain.
  • Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis and ability to work independently or in a team.
