Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join the TOYOTI1 team on a full-time basis. As a crucial member of our maintenance department, you will use cutting-edge reliability equipment to predict and prevent machine failures, ultimately reducing downtime and ensuring a smooth manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Utilize infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic technology to collect and analyze data for predictive maintenance.
• Submit work orders, collaborate with maintenance planners, and schedule repairs during planned downtime.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks, change filters, oil, and grease as needed.
• Identify equipment issues, provide immediate repair recommendations, and collect oil samples for analysis.
• Support Plant Operations and Maintenance to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Attend reliability and maintenance meetings, propose equipment upgrades, replacements, and repairs.
• Adhere to safety procedures, recommend improvements for manufacturing equipment longevity.
• Stay current on predictive maintenance technology through training.
• Communicate effectively and perform all reliability responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5+ years of experience in reliability technology.
• Military experience considered; Pdm certifications a plus or willingness to obtain.
• Root cause failure analysis expertise and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
