Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Predictive Downtime Maintenance Technician to join the team at TOYOTI1. In this role, you will utilize reliability equipment to analyze and detect potential machine failures, predict pending issues, and ensure minimal downtime through effective maintenance planning. From collecting data using advanced technologies to recommending equipment upgrades and repairs, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and detect potential machine failures using reliability equipment.
• Collect and analyze data to predict pending failures.
• Utilize advanced technologies such as infrared, vibration, and ultrasonic to gather data.
• Schedule repairs during planned maintenance to address identified issues.
• Detect air, steam, and nitrogen leaks using reliability devices.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks like changing filters, oil, and grease.
• Recommend immediate shutdown of equipment for repairs if necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
• Provide support to minimize unplanned downtime due to machine failure.

Requirements

• Associate degree in industrial maintenance or 5 years of related experience.
• Experience in daily data collection, analysis, and reporting in a manufacturing environment.
• Thorough understanding of root cause failure analysis.
• Willingness to obtain Pdm-related certifications.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
