Job Description
We are looking for a Principal Application Architect specializing in Finacle to lead our technology strategy and technical capabilities for an application ecosystem at Discover Financial Services. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of business processes and technical building blocks to design application architecture that meets business, customer needs, and technical requirements. You will collaborate with the Sr. Product Owner(s) to align product vision with technology strategy. Additionally, you will oversee the design process, coach other architects, and stay abreast of modern technologies and patterns. Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in Software Development, Software Engineering, or Technical Architecture.
- Technical proficiency rating of proficient on the Dreyfus architecture scale for internal applicants.
Preferred Qualifications
Bonus Points If You Have experience with Finacle, AWS, Kubernetes, or Openshift.

Compensation
The base pay for this position typically ranges between $148,000.00 to $204,000.00, with additional incentives based on eligibility and relevant factors like experience and education.
