Job Description
We are currently looking for a talented Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. This full-time position offers competitive pay rates and a $5,000 sign-on bonus. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the best possible images for interpretation, adhering to radiation protection principles, and following our philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams after verifying patient identification and physician order.
- Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently.
- Contribute to department operations by assisting colleagues and complying with quality assurance standards.
- Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and ensure equipment maintenance.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- Must be registered with ARRT within 6 months of hire.
- Basic Life Support Certification required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as specified.
