Job Description
Corewell Health is currently seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist to join our team at our Royal Oak Hospital location. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate diagnostic exams in various areas of general radiology in accordance with established protocols. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety, providing high-quality images for interpretation, and following Corewell Health's commitment to Patient and Family Centered Care.
Responsibilities
- Perform quality diagnostic exams following proper patient identification and physician orders.
- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety.
- Utilize age-appropriate methods for patient care.
- Communicate effectively with different departments and medical staff.
- Demonstrate proficiency in operating diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Ensure compliance with radiation protection standards.
- Contribute to departmental operations by providing assistance to colleagues.
- Participate in training new hires and students.
Requirements
- Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification.
- Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Ability to perform physical tasks related to the job.
