Radiology Technologist Full Time Afternoons

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Full Time Radiology Technologist to join our team at Corewell Health. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing accurate and efficient diagnostic exams in all areas of general radiology, ensuring the best possible images for interpretation. You will adhere to Corewell Health's philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care, demonstrating good clinical skills and providing excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality diagnostic exams following patient verification and physician orders.
• Acquire accurate patient history and document in medical records.
• Ensure patient safety during procedures.
• Operate diagnostic imaging equipment proficiently and follow policy for malfunctions.
• Provide procedural information and education to patients and families.
• Maintain competency in all assigned areas, including fluoro, general diagnostic, orthopedic, and operating procedures.

Requirements

• Graduate of a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
• Must be registered within 6 months of hire date.
• Certification by the ARRT and in good standing.
• Basic Life Support Certification for Healthcare Providers.
