GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager, the Regional Career Development Coordinator coordinates activities, projects, instructional operations, job development, and placements for the PACT Programs. This position plays a crucial role in fostering partnerships, facilitating employment opportunities, and assisting program participants in achieving successful career outcomes.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate activities and cooperation between program partners, community-based organizations, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Foster positive relationships with funders, partners, and personnel.
  • Serve as the liaison to program partners and prospective employers.
  • Provide employability skills training, job development, and placement support to participants.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure successful program outcomes and participant placements.
  • Develop job/career opportunities and facilitate employment for graduates.
  • Conduct follow-ups on students' progress post-employment.
  • Implement community outreach and recruitment strategies.
  • Supervise program graduates' employment follow-up.
  • Assist with tool/material distribution and classroom support.
  • Ensure program compliance and quality standards.
  • Represent HBI at conferences and events for program development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a human services or related field, or equivalent experience.

Experience: Minimum of one year in career development or project management.

Preferred:

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Budget oversight experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Supervisory skills and knowledge of construction trades.
  • Experience in job placement and working with diverse populations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
