Responsibilities

• Conduct cursory health evaluations of new students, including vital sign checks, hearing and vision screenings, and specimen collections.
• Administer medication, monitor students, and report adverse reactions to the Health and Wellness Director.
• Assist in scheduling medical appointments and managing chronic care for students with illnesses.
• Act as Co-Disability Coordinator and provide medical accommodations to students.
• Support health initiatives and attend required staff training sessions.

Requirements

• High school graduate with a State RN license (active and unrestricted).
• Preferred: One year of nursing experience, Job Corps experience desirable.
• Sound nursing techniques, effective communication skills, and ability to work independently when necessary.
