Security Supervisor- Nightwatch 2nd Shift

Job Description

The Cincinnati Art Museum is looking for a full-time Nightwatch Security Supervisor (2nd Shift) to join our Security Department team. This position involves supervising security personnel, monitoring nightly operations, maintaining security equipment, and ensuring the safety and security of the museum premises and its visitors. The Security Supervisor will play a key role in promoting excellent customer service both internally and to the public.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate security guards, ensuring proper security and housekeeping are maintained.
• Monitor and maintain alarm systems, as well as respond to incidents and emergencies.
• Assist in training security personnel and other museum staff.
• Handle visitor inquiries, complaints, and emergencies.
• Contribute to the recruitment and development of security personnel.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent; two or more years of museum or security experience preferred.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work well under pressure and in emergency situations.
• Knowledge of security practices and procedures is a plus.

Compensation

• Yearly Salary: $38,000 - $40,000
