Job Description: Senior Buyer at Premier Marine

We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Buyer to join our team at Premier Marine. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning and procuring materials, supplies, and services while meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements. You will play a crucial role in managing inventory, developing purchasing strategies, and optimizing costs to support our production requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize system reports and judgment to order materials based on sales requirements.
• Submit purchase orders, establish priorities, and resolve shipping or billing issues.
• Analyze forecast accuracy and supply chain factors to maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Drive process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and add value to the business.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to drive performance and accountability.

Requirements:

• Superior problem-solving skills and proficiency with Excel.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems, particularly EPICOR.
• Ability to organize tasks, work collaboratively, and communicate effectively.
• Strong negotiation skills and integrity to uphold company values.
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain or related field, with 3+ years of purchasing experience.

Physical Requirements:
