Job Title: Sous Chef

We are currently seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our prestigious team at Riviera Golf & Tennis, Inc. As a Sous Chef, you will work closely with our Executive Chef to maintain the highest standards of food quality and operational efficiency in our banquet, halfway house, and restaurant kitchens. This role requires a creative culinary professional dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative menus in line with culinary standards.
  • Supervise food preparation for consistency and quality.
  • Oversee kitchen operations for efficiency and compliance.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and staff performance.
  • Lead and mentor culinary team members for continuous improvement.
  • Create seasonal menus and special event culinary experiences.
  • Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff for a seamless dining experience.
  • Coordinate special events and banquets with other departments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end culinary environment.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Passion for culinary arts and outstanding dining experiences.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen cleanliness.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Compensation

Yearly Salary: $70,000 - $80,000
