Job Description

We are seeking a Substitute Instructor to join our team at the Roswell Job Corps Center. As an instructor, you will deliver classroom instructions in designated subject areas, maintaining a positive learning environment and motivating students towards success.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and uphold Company Core Values and operating principles.
• Promote a positive atmosphere for student motivation.
• Maintain discipline to optimize learning outcomes.
• Establish rapport and utilize available curriculum resources.
• Maintain student personnel folders and ensure attendance accountability.
• Attend required training sessions.
• Perform additional assigned duties.

Requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum: State certified, licensed, or accredited; teaching experience not mandatory but practical knowledge essential.

Preferred: Extensive trade knowledge and teaching experience.

Knowledge: Behavior instillation, housekeeping management, effective communication, and English proficiency.

Physical Requirements

Frequently: Standing, sitting, seeing, hearing, speaking.

Occasionally: Walking, bending, stooping, squatting, flexibility.

Seldom: Climbing, lifting 50 pounds, carrying, kneeling, pushing/pulling, running, driving.

Environmental Demands

Ability to operate office equipment, occasional solitary work, predominantly team interaction, college level reading and writing proficiency.
