Pikes Peak Oral Surgery, an elite oral surgery practice dedicated to exceptional patient care and service, is seeking a Surgical Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate team player with a strong work ethic to support the practice's growth and commitment to community service. Previous oral surgery experience is advantageous but not mandatory.

Role and Responsibilities

The Surgical Assistant plays a crucial role in ensuring top-notch patient care and successful clinical outcomes. Duties include assisting surgeons during procedures, maintaining aseptic conditions, and handling preoperative and postoperative tasks.

Education and Experience

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• BLS certification required, or ability to obtain within 1 month of hire.
• At least 1 year of related experience preferred.
• DAANCE certification, licensed dental assistant, and radiology certification are beneficial.

Skills and Abilities

• Basic computer knowledge.
• Strong teamwork and independent work abilities.
• Good judgment, critical thinking, and passion for safety.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent manual dexterity and listening skills.
• Basic medical terminology understanding.
