Utility Inspection Technician

Job Description

Omark Consultants Inc is looking for a Utility Inspection Technician to join our team in ensuring safety and quality in gas distribution. As a Gas Leak Survey Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting gas meters and underground distribution lines for leaks and corrosion, while maintaining thorough documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections of gas equipment and lines.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Identify and report abnormal operating conditions.
• Participate in paid training sessions.

Requirements

• Ability to work full-time and occasional overtime.
• Physically capable of walking long distances in various terrains and weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using simple hand tools and technology (smartphone, tablet).
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
