Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Full-Time Warehouse Associate to join our team at Aldi. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling incoming stock, organizing merchandise, preparing shipments, and maintaining warehouse cleanliness and safety standards. You will collaborate with team members, communicate effectively with warehouse leadership, and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
- Relocate merchandise following product handling guidelines.
- Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
- Perform general cleaning and maintain warehouse appearance.
- Participate in warehouse inventory counts and provide input for process improvement.
- Inspect product quality, address safety concerns, and sanitation issues.
- Operate equipment following safety guidelines and report any issues to management.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift and handle products weighing up to 45 pounds.
- Basic arithmetic skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
