1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join Aldi's dynamic team. As a Warehouse Package Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operations of our warehouse, ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining warehouse organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock accurately to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise as per handling guidelines and prep for shipments.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise strategically for shipment.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards.
• Participate in inventory counts and communicate effectively with peers and leadership.
• Provide feedback for process improvements and assist in achieving warehouse goals.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Follow safety guidelines and report any issues promptly.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

- Must be 18 years or older.
- Ability to perform tasks within ALDI Acts competencies.
- Strong organizational skills and efficiency in executing tasks.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products weighing up to 45 pounds frequently.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
• Work in varying temperatures and physical conditions.

Education and Experience

- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
