1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Package Handler to join our team at Aldi. This full-time position offers an average of 30-35 hours per week with a starting wage of $23.00 per hour.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders efficiently.
• Relocate merchandise according to handling guidelines.
• Sort, load, and unload merchandise for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety standards.
• Collaborate with peers and warehouse leadership for effective communication.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Ensure product quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Independently perform tasks within the assigned responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow ergonomic and safety procedures.

Job Qualifications

• 18 years or older to be employed at Aldi.
• Demonstrate conscientiousness, teamwork, positive attitude, resilience, and efficiency.
• Apply company policies and procedures effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Work both independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Lift and move products up to 45 pounds.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
• Work in varying temperatures and environments.
