1st Shift Warehouse Stocker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated 1st Shift Warehouse Stocker to join Aldi's team. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing stock and preparing merchandise for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise according to warehouse guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse standards.
• Participate in inventory counts.
• Collaborate with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide feedback to improve processes.
• Inspect product quality and address safety concerns.
• Assist in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follow ergonomic and safety procedures.
• Perform all tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Operate equipment following safety guidelines.
• Notify management of quality and safety issues.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• 18 years or older to work at Aldi.
• Conscientious, Collaborative, Positive Attitude, Driven for Success.
• Organized, Efficient, and Able to interpret company policies.
• Excellent communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and place products up to 45 pounds.
• Move merchandise and prepare deliveries.
• Engage in various physical activities within the warehouse in varying temperatures.
• Operate powered industrial equipment safely.
