1st Shift Warehouse Team Member

Job Description

We are looking for a 1st Shift Warehouse Team Member to join the Aldi team. In this part-time role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient reception, selection, and delivery of products to our stores. As a valued member of our warehouse operations, you will work in both ambient and temperature-controlled areas, contributing to our success in providing quality products to our customers.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently select and receive incoming stock to fulfill store orders.
• Relocate merchandise within the warehouse based on product handling guidelines.
• Sort, organize, and load merchandise in preparation for shipment.
• Perform general cleaning duties to maintain warehouse appearance standards.
• Participate in inventory counts following guidelines.
• Cooperate and communicate effectively with peers, suppliers, and warehouse leadership.
• Provide input to improve warehouse processes.
• Inspect products for quality, safety, and sanitation.
• Act independently within delegated responsibilities.
• Assist in achieving warehouse budgeted goals.
• Follow safety guidelines and ergonomic procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum age requirement of 18 years old.
• Ability to demonstrate concern for quality, safety, and collaboration.
• Positive attitude and resilience in adapting to challenges.
• Drive for success and organizational efficiency.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Physical ability to lift and move up to 45 pounds, operate industrial equipment, and work in varying temperatures.
