Job Description: Branch Manager at Bayview Building Materials

We are seeking a skilled Branch Manager to oversee operations and ensure profitability at our store. As a key leader, you will be responsible for developing personnel, maintaining excellent customer service, and driving sales. This onsite position requires strong leadership, business acumen, and a commitment to long-term growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and foster a customer-focused culture among staff.
  • Achieve or exceed branch Annual Operating Plan targets.
  • Implement and uphold TAL's Safety Program.
  • Drive sales initiatives for retail and contractor customers.
  • Supervise operations, including margins, expenses, inventories, and deliveries.
  • Analyze branch performance using Spruce information for increased sales and inventory control.
  • Manage personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Support purchasing to meet customer needs and enhance sales.
  • Implement company marketing and merchandising programs.
  • Ensure branch presentation meets quality standards for an exceptional customer experience.
  • Coordinate with various managers to enforce policies and procedures.
  • Lead loss prevention efforts for security and safety measures.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and provide operational updates to management.
  • Maintain compliance with TAL policies and regulations.
  • Cultivate key business relationships in the community.
  • Collaborate with other branch managers and undertake additional assignments as needed.

Requirements

  • 4-10 years of relevant experience.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Physical Requirements

  • May involve lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Position may require sitting, walking, or standing for brief periods.
  • Occasional exertion of up to 80 pounds of force may be necessary.

Compensation

$67,725 - $102,850 yearly salary range.
