APX Construction Group LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dynamic team. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to analyze project costs, manage budgets, and ensure project success. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-directed leader with excellent organizational skills and experience in commercial construction.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate on new and existing projects to produce detailed estimates within specified time frames and budgets.
• Analyze project plans and specifications to determine costs and evaluate alternative approaches for cost savings.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and reliable partnerships.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and pricing fluctuations to enhance bid competitiveness.
• Report on estimating activities, project costs, and bid performance to management.

Requirements

• 2-year degree in Construction Management or related field.
• 5+ years of estimating and procurement management experience.
• 2 years of Project Manager experience in Commercial Construction (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret project documents.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders.
