Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Event Planning Specialist to join the Air Line Pilots Association in Tysons (McLean), Virginia. As part of the Strategic Member Development & Support team, you will serve as the primary point of contact for pilot members, MEC/LEC, and ALPA National staff for all event planning needs.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate meeting spaces and hotel accommodations for members and staff.
- Plan and organize various Association meetings, events, and conventions.
- Manage bookings, travel arrangements, and ensure timely execution of all event plans.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; college education preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of event planning experience; 4 years preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event planning software.
- Ability to travel 10-20% including some nights and weekends.
