Laboratory Animal Resources Technician

Job Description

AmplifyBio, LLC is seeking a dedicated Laboratory Animal Resources Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Laboratory Animal Research Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients' toxicology, safety pharmacology, and inhalation research programs. You will work alongside a team of experienced scientists and technicians in our state-of-the-art facilities to ensure the highest standards of animal care and research.

Responsibilities

• Perform animal husbandry, animal care, data collection, and administration of test articles with precision.
• Adhere to SOPs, regulations, and health and safety requirements.
• Record and review data meticulously for quality and accuracy.
• Assist in the training of junior staff and collaborate with different departments as necessary.
• Report deviations, animal welfare concerns, and contribute to corrective actions.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in biology, chemistry, RVT, or related field.
• Experience in a laboratory or animal care environment.
• Detailed-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and adhere to safety protocols.

Desired Skills

• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in laboratory or animal care environment.
• Familiarity with animal husbandry, handling, and administering medications.
• Experience in assisting with surgeries is a plus.
