Lead Field Superintendent - Large Multifamily Project

Job Description

Horizon Construction Group, a leader in multi-family housing development, is looking for a Lead Field Superintendent to oversee a large multifamily project in Bettendorf, Iowa. This position will be responsible for coordinating all project field operations, ensuring quality and timely completion of the project, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all project field operations, including subcontractors, materials deliveries, and labor.
• Manage project punch list and ensure 100% completion within designated time frames.
• Monitor project schedules, communicate daily progress, and report to the Project Manager.
• Lead and supervise on-site staff, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of construction experience, specifically in multi-family residential or commercial construction.
• OSHA30 and First Aid/CPR certification required.
• Demonstrated expertise in all construction aspects including earthwork, framing, finishes, and mechanicals.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects effectively.

Physical Demands

• Ability to stand, bend, walk long distances, climb ladders, operate machinery, and lift heavy objects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to handle high levels of stress.

Compensation

Salary: $95,000 - $130,000 per year
