VitalCore Health Strategies (VCHS), an industry leader in Correctional Health Care, is seeking dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our team at the Charles B Webster Detention Center in Augusta, Georgia, for multiple shifts. As an LPN at VitalCore, you will deliver quality care within your scope of practice, ensuring the well-being of our patients and contributing to a positive work environment based on respect and appreciation.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care as delegated and directed by the Healthcare Supervisor, Director of Nursing, Registered Nurse, or Medical Director.
- Monitor patient health and report any changes to the medical staff.
- Administer medications and treatments to patients as prescribed.
- Document patient care services by charting in patients' medical records.
- Adhere to state laws and regulations governing nursing practices.
Requirements
- Graduate from a Licensed Practical Nursing program.
- Active LPN license in the state of employment.
- CPR certification.
- Knowledge of specific state laws and regulations.
- Demonstrated clinical competencies as assigned.
