LPN ( Licensed Practical Nurse) - Full Time (No Nights, No Weekends)

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Valley Counseling Services, a program of Family & Community Services, Inc. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, offering stability and no night or weekend shifts.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and address client questions and concerns regarding medical issues.
• Provide emergency care and first aid services when necessary.
• Work collaboratively with agency physicians to observe and record client behavior and response to medication.
• Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Maintain effective relationships with colleagues and contribute to a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• Skilled in psychiatric patient care, crisis intervention, and medication administration.
• Proficient in communication, data collection, and reporting.
• Required certifications in First Aid, CPR, and de-escalation techniques.
• Valid Ohio LPN license with medication administration training.
• Prior experience in mental health nursing is preferred.

Education and Experience

• Practical nursing degree from an accredited institution.
• Mental health nursing experience is desirable.

Physical Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively, drive to various locations, and perform tasks that involve bending, sitting, lifting up to 25 lbs., and other physical movements.

Compensation

Hourly wage: $21-21
