Mechanic/Technician Apprentice (Meadowbrook)

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive Mechanic/Technician Apprentice to join the Utah Transit Authority team in Meadowbrook. In this role, you will undergo technical instruction and classroom training while demonstrating competency in various modules such as Preventative Maintenance, Electrical, Brakes, and more. As an apprentice, you will assist in manual tasks, perform preventative maintenance inspections, and support advanced employees in repairs using hand and power tools. Successful candidates must meet specific qualifications, including having a class B CDL and relevant technical education or experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Hold or acquire a class B CDL with passenger endorsement.
• Possess specific qualifications related to education, experience, or UTA-related experience.

Shift & Pay

Shift: 9:00 pm to 7:30 am with Sunday/Monday/Tuesday off. Pay Rate: $25.33 - $29.33 per hour plus shift differentials. Wage progression and advancement opportunities available within the apprenticeship program.
