Middle River Aerostructure Systems is a world-leading manufacturer of thrust reversers, engine nacelle components, and specialized aerostructures. Located near Baltimore, MRAS has a rich history of designing and equipping aircraft for over 90 years. As part of ST Engineering North America, we are a vital component of a global aerospace network.

Internship Summary:
Our paid summer internship/co-op program offers exposure to various areas like Design, Engineering, Lean, Manufacturing, Quality, and more. Interns receive mentorship from experienced managers and develop leadership skills through hands-on training and challenging work projects.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work on projects requiring independent decision-making for 2-6 months.
  • Develop presentations to communicate progress and best practices.
  • Analyze data and contribute to day-to-day tasks in the designated department.
  • Participate in talent events, seminars, and training sessions.
  • Perform assignments with precision and trustworthiness.

Requirements:

  • Current enrollment in a relevant degree program with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Completed at least one year of college (rising Sophomore).
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green card holder.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 24 credit hours toward a technical or engineering degree.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and plan strategically.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and able to work autonomously.
  • Team player with great interpersonal skills and the ability to work in diverse environments.
