Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated part-time AP Biology Teacher to join our team at Match Charter Public School in Boston for the 2024-2025 academic year. As an integral part of our diverse and inclusive school community, you will teach AP Biology classes and contribute to the academic and behavioral growth of our students.
Responsibilities
- Teach up to two high school AP Biology classes.
- Collaborate with the science department leadership to plan engaging lessons.
- Support students in reaching high academic and behavioral standards.
- Participate in coaching and professional development programs.
- Contribute to school activities as required.
- Be an active and positive member of our school community.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will have at least two years of full-time teaching experience, hold a valid Massachusetts teaching license or be willing to obtain one, and demonstrate a commitment to student success and continuous personal and professional development.
