Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Principal Release Manager to join Discover Financial Services, one of the world's leading digital banking and payment companies. As part of our team, you will be responsible for managing the release management life cycle, coordinating and scheduling releases across the Agile Release Train (ART).
Responsibilities
- Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams across all locations.
- Plan release windows and cycles, resolving issues affecting scope, schedule, and quality.
- Conduct Release Readiness and Business Go/No-Go reviews, leading Go-Live activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in Software Release Management or related field.
- Experience in DevOps/Automation or related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong accountability and progression of the release process.
- Implementation and validation plan development.
- Coordination of several application teams within a release schedule.
