As a Procurement Manager at Dogwood Industries, you will play a crucial role in purchasing electrical and mechanical equipment, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring efficient communication between stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop procurement schedules aligned with production needs.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for competitive pricing and terms.
  • Research and evaluate products and suppliers.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for technically complex products.
  • Coordinate materials procurement and issue purchase orders.
  • Ensure timely material delivery and resolve supply chain discrepancies.
  • Oversee a procurement team and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • Experience in team management and vendor negotiation.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and ensure accuracy in procurement.
  • Proficiency in Office, SharePoint, and Adobe applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction or a minimum of 4 years in a related procurement role.
